Hello, I’m up before dawn as we are taking Daisy to the hospital for an operation today.Any good energy sent to my daughter for healing very appreciated. I may be offline for a couple of days as I will be staying in the hospital. Just wanted to share this video clip I made recently for a behind the scenes glimpse of some of the inspirations of Poet’s Cottage. I’m no Orson Welles or Maya Deren but for a first attempt I didn’t do too badly. If you enjoyed the book please share the video with your contacts and on your social networking sites. It’s around 5 minutes. I shall make a smaller version as well. Thanks so much! xx
Hi Josephine, When I click on it, it says, “This video is private.” Hope Daisy is ok.
Liz
Hi Liz darling, I am such an idiot! I can’t face Youtube settings until I’ve had some sleep but I will change the setting then and post it on Facebook as well so you can watch my incredible movie making efforts! Daisy is well but the whole experience was a lot harder than I expected. Watching your child go under in an operation isn’t easy. I will say she kept telling the doctors a story as they put her to sleep and they said they had never had a child do that. A chip off the block! xx
Send you the very best wishes for your daughter. Haven’t had any luck downloading the video on my iPad but then I am a dingaling! Xcat
Dear Catherine, I thank you so much for your good wishes! No, it’s not you being a dingaling it is me. I am not so good at techno things obviously and will sort out the privacy controls. xx
A flurry of good healing wishes to Daisy, and good wishes to you too iat such a heart-rending time. Unfortunately Mr YouTube won’t let me see your video, insisting that it’s private. Take care lovely, J xxx
Dear Jennifer, you are so lovely with your good healing wishes. We are home now and would hate to go through all of that again but Miss D is getting there. Mr Youtube is a cunning old chap. I didn’t realise I had privacy controls on there. I’m such a dud with technology. I shall get it sorted when I’ve had some sleep and can face it . Sleeping in a chair in hospital is so not relaxing! Much love to you. xx
Oh no, I tried to post a comment on the day of Daisy’s operation, but it mustn’t have got through! 🙁 I was just writing to wish you all luck with Daisy’s operation and I am hoping/it sounds like, she did well 🙂 So brave! xx
Dear Julieanne, I’m so pleased you reposted. I’m afraid that was my fault. I did get your lovely supportive comment but I was at the kiosk in the hospital. I was shaking so much after having seen Miss Daisy go under (valiantly telling the staff a story I must add ) that I am afraid I deleted you. So sorry and so forgive me and know your comment reached me. Thanks so much for thinking of Miss D. xx
