This is going to be good! I’ve just finished the book this week, and would love to see the film right now! I might have to settle for the 1974 version, on the weekend. Thanks for sharing. 🙂

Yes, I have to re-read the book as when I read it I liked it but didn’t love it which was so crushing. I kept thinking that I just wasn’t ‘getting it’ and knew I would return to it one day. Sometimes its my own head space rather than the book. I’m sure that Baz’s version is going to be very different from the book but hopefully will capture the spirit. xx

I also liked it, but didn’t love it. I preferred Tender is the Night. But I’m still looking forward to the movie and 1920s New York!

Liz, i will have to read Tender is the Night now to compare. I can’t wait for the movie although the soundtrack is a bit of a worry but CM can do no wrong with her visuals. xx
