   oh i remember when the divine kate first appeared on countdown – so arresting and original. inspiring indeed! hope your shoulder is getting better, and this week turns out better than last. jxxx

   I can remember when I first saw her on Countdown. Sunday tomato soup and suddenly that wraith in a red dress howling poetry. She was beautiful. I love the German clip she looks so young and shy. The whole world seemed younger and shyer before the internet. xx

   I remember buying her LP for 99c when I was about 14. I played and played it on my record player until is was scratched!
